Shipping a bumper question

The sender just tried to have his rear bumper sent to me via Greyhound. Turns out Greyhound has imposed a length limit (62 inches max). Besides USPS, FedEx ground, or UPS ground, are there any other shipping companies that will send an item across country at a reasonable shipping cost?

Huh? That sucks if true. Greyhound has always had a 85 inch limit.

Hmm, I thought so because in past I received a large package via GreyHound. You made me question the sender's statement. I went back and checked greyhound's shipping website to find out their shipping policies.

http://www.shipgreyhound.com/terms/

Under: SIZE, WEIGHT AND VALUE LIMITATIONS, max box size is 30 inches X 47 inches X 82 inches.

Looks like I have more work to do.
