Help me decide on a new car BMW or?
Currently i have a 2011 335i which i am either going to keep or have someone else take over payments. But i feel like i am missing something. I have been looking at the following cars to feed my craving for a great all around sports car.
2008 CLS 63 AMG $47k 2008 BMW M6 $48k 2009 BMW M3 DCT $48k I have also gave it some thoughts to grab a 03-05 Dodge Viper $38k and have a second car for my daily use and driving the kids around. I am basically looking for a fast sports car with a unique look and sound. That i can drive daily and track it (drag strip & road course) ... I will also be modding it as well. Any thoughts. I say M6. The M3 is the best all around sports car but if was able to afford any of those cars I'd personally go out and get an M6 tomorrow. My neighbor has a Viper and it's cool and all but I still would rather have an M6 because it's a BMW.

The Viper would be an interesting/fun choice. They are definitely fast and make a beautiful sound.
I think I would go for the M6 or the Viper, if you keep the 335. I hate to not say the M3, but I think the other two may be more fun.

cls 63 amg would be my choice on that list. Than again, I prefer sedans.
I have a good friend that has a cls 55 amg, and even that is a great car. We often trade cars for weeks at a time, so I've had a lot of time driving it. I can only imagine what a monster the 63 would be. The cls is extremely fast, however I feel more stable in my 3 with cornering and turns. You probably don't care, but the thing swallows gas. |

Man this is a tough choice, I think I would keep the 335 and get the Viper. If you cant keep the 335, get an E46 ZHP or E39 M5 for your 2nd car. Everyone should have one BMW

Have you driven the viper? My buddy had one and I didn't like it at all... I'd go M6... easy choice for me over the others.

for $38k, you can try a 06-07 CPO cayman S, and add in a turbo. Then you'll have a car that can keep up with 911 turbos with better handling.
or I support the viper idea. It's a really cool car. |

Go with M6. Made that leap and didn't look back!

Any AMG cant be too bad. I would get an M3 before an M6. In fact I'd probably get an E46 M3 before an M6. I've never owned an AMG car but if I did it would be the smallest one with the biggest motor. Good luck.

While that is true about low year production cars, the M6 is basically a M5 in a different body and has been around for a few years now, and both are bullet proof. Get the V10 M6 it has the sexiest exhaust note ever to come out of a BMW.

I have never driven a M3 or M6, I drove a 05 viper for a day and loved it, i also drove the CLS 55 AMG for the day i loved that car as well. The sound and the luxury inside how it was built, has seats that massage your while you drive lol...

The only reason why i am kind of leaning away from the M3 is because i see them everywhere. I can drive to my local starbucks and bam there is a M3.
