Should I do my oil change before or after I go track my car??
Been about 5-6k mile since last change...

Just make sure it is where it needs to be man. If you want to be extra sure, take it to a mechanic and let him give it a quick physical before you take it out on the track.

I think im going to change it tomorrow and then again after the open track next weekend. Just to be safe and plus I wonder how the oil will look like after just one week of driving and one day of tracking

How does hitting the track affect your oil? (please don't answer - it's a rhetorical question). Change your brake fluid - sure, pads - sure, tires - sure, but oil? If driving your car at it's limits necessitated an oil change, that would mean you've just caused a whole bunch of damage to your engine. Not sure how this would happen just by ripping around a track a few times. Go ahead and change your cabin filters and windshield wipers too while you're at it.

Agree. It's either due for oil or it isn't. If youre close, then sure do it before. If you're not close, maybe do it a little sooner than usual next time. But before and after? Say whaaaaa?
