2011 e93 seatbelt scuffing/rubbing

Just wanted to see if this was normal.

On my front seats where the seatbelt comes out of the seat, I have scuffing/rub marks on the front and back of the black plastic.

It is from the seatbelt rubbing against it.

Does this happen to anyone else? Looks like they could have changed it to not rub, but I assume it is done that way for a safety reason.

I had a velcro sticker right where the rubbing occurs. I'll take some pictures.

Yup. Same thing in my E90 but not as bad as be1ieve1111's E92, ouch...

my problem is not at the bottom, it's the top.

I have not tried to to anything to fix/correct it yet.

i can't see any damage.. maybe it's the glare?
