So I was rewrapping my side markers in matte white and I noticed that the housing says E90 for one direction and E87 for the other direction. So basically the E90 and E87 side markers are the same just reversed on each side.

I know cool story right?

isn't/wasn't the E90/E87's based on the 5's? or at least "influenced" so that's why they share parts? id unno lol
