Airbag Light

I'm having a problem getting the airbag light and seatbelt light to go out. It was in a wreck that deployed the driver airbag so I replaced the airbag, clockspring, driver tensioner along with the rear tensioners. The code won't clear using my Bavarian Tool because it says there is a fault in the left rear tensioner. I thought well maybe I got a defective tensioner so I swapped sides to check but it still said the left rear fault.

Does anybody have a direction to point me? Does the computer really need to be replaced? I hear both ways.

Thanks

We're talking about the buckle under the rear seat right? I run a collision shop and we change alot of these. Usually you can tell if there bad by just looking at them, they'll be all scunched up looking. I believe the oem part number is 72116975363 or could be 72117211595 but I think the second is for jap cars not sure without vin#. I also have BT tool and its never steered me wrong.

Yes, both tensioners were bad so I replaced them with 2 brand new ones but its still giving me a fault according to my BT tool.

Hmm, must be in the socket that connects to the left buckle. Does it look melted at all?
If not, a continuity test back to the air bag module will tell you if the wiring is good.

sorry to be slightly off topic but is it pretty much a sure bet that the drivers seat tensioners will be bad if the drivers airbag was deployed?

Update:

I had the airbag module reset from all the crash data and that didn't help. I don't see any melted wires. After messing with it for an hour I am now getting rear left and rear right seat belt tensioner faults. My BT Tool is giving me a .16 ohm reading in the left and .24 ohm reading in the right. It should be in the range of .64 ohms according to the front tensioners. The rear seat belt tensioners are new.

Please Help!
