Help me solve my mirror problem. Video in post

YOU HAVE TO TURN UP THE VOLUME TO HEAR IT

It does this when I first start the car and drive in the mornings. It used to happen a while ago, and then it stopped for about a month and then started up again.

It seems it is trying to adjust the mirror but is stuck.

Can I just unplug the damn thing?

thanks

what makes u think its the mirror causing the noise?
from the vid, it looks like the sound is syned with the bumps on the road so to me it sounds more like suspension related noise.

It is the mirror. When the window is down I can put my hand on it when it is acting up and I can feel it trying to move. Sometimes when the car is off and I am getting in or out of it, you can hear the same noise as soon as I open the door. I have a video of that also. Here you go.

TURN UP THE VOLUME TO HEAR IT

If you wanted to unplug it, why can't you use the Side mirror removal DIY?

I think I just may have to do that. I was hoping someone else may have had this problem and knew an easy fix but I just have not found it yet.

Something is causing this, so that something can get fixed. I just need to know what that something is.

I would get whatever module that handles the side view mirrors recoded.

If you unplug it, it won't dim automatically.

Does the mirror move at all, if you try to adjust it? That's crazy, very annoying. My pass. mirror was replaced under warranty so probably a known issue.

It is iffy. Sometimes I can get it to move with the controls inside, and sometimes I cant. It never really moves though by itself. It just sounds like it is trying to move but cant.
