Programmable Lock Code?
Hey all - do we have a programmable lock code on our 335i's? I had and E36 M3 and there was a user programmable 4 digit lock code that would prevent the car from being started without the code, even if you had the master key.
The reason I ask if the 335i has one is b/c I do a lot of outdoor sports where having the key fob get wet or even completely dunked is a good possibility and would like to just be able to carry the little valet key. And, because the car has comfort access, leaving the key fob locked in the car somewhere is kind of like leaving a sign that says "free car". Any ideas? I did a search, but couldn't find anything. Thanks in advance for the help. |
