iPhone 4: Can I limit the # of contacts to sync with idrive?

Question:

I just got an iPhone 4 and my company automatically pushes the entire corporate directory to my Exchange server in Outlook... over 1500 contacts.

With my blackberry, I could limit the number of contacts I wanted to sync to iDrive, to just have the few that I wanted. This was a setting in one of the blackberry menus.

How can I do that with my iPhone? Thanks!

Re: partial directory

I don't think that's possible.

You can limit which address book to sync. In your contacts, select groups (back arrow) and select all on my iPhone. That should limit to you iPhone only. Outside of that, you cannot limit from your exchange. That was what I did. I put only my more frequent and personal contacts on my iPhone and have it only sync from it.

Go to your Bluetooth options for the BMW device. Turn on Phone Favorites, uncheck "All Contacts".
