1M HK Aux Input and iPod Integration Question

Hello, I am trying to finalize specs for my 1M and was wondering if anyone could answer the following:

I am ordering a 1M with only the HK upgrade option. It will be a weekend car.
I am having a hard time justifying $ 1150.00 for the iPod/USB option just so I can play my iPhone. When you select the HK option and then add iPod integration for 400.00 it then automatically adds SOS for another 750.00. So now I am paying 1150.00 just to be able to plug in my iPhone?? (I don't want or need SOS!)

Is there an aux input on the HK system in the console so that I can just run my iPhone through that rather than ordering the iPod/USB option?

Should I just bite the bullet and order the iPod/USB option?

Thanks for your help!

Garage List
there is a regular aux-in which should work with the ipod/iphone according to my salesman - at least you can play the songs - no title/cover/steeringwheel up/down function though

i didnt order all the iphone connectivity options for that ridiculous price!

it's not just the SOS its the full bluetooth integration. Personally I think it is worth it, but if you dont value the Bluetooth/SOS dont waste the money. Without the iDrive screen the iPod controls aren't that great anyways.

Why don't you order the USB option and use a large capacity USB stick. It's cheaper.
