What happened to Perostahov? Anyone know? -Private selller Issue (Scam)

Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I paid Perostahov for a set of wheels on 6/20 and he has apparently disappeared. Does anyone know anything? He hasn't replied to PM or email. Last logged in 6/23.

How did you pay? If it was by money order you have probably been duped.

I was actually looking for a spare set too to possibly powder coat, but after contacting him he was super pushy to get payment within the hour. If you used paypal please tell me you did not put it as a gift?

Something seemed a lil too good to be true that he would pay for shipping too...

Hope this works out, if not file a claim stat.

I paid via Paypal, not as a gift. I already filed a claim but it seems like he just disappeared. I wonder if paypal will let me reverse the transaction even though it isn't an eBay item...

I filed a claim online which they will review after his reply to it... any chance I won't be able to get my money back if he withdrew it from paypal or something?

Just with that last name i wouldnt even trust him. You are protected with paypal it takes awhile to get the money back. I had to file a claim because the guy i bought off of also took off but i did get my money back. Oh if you are lookin at 261 rims i have a set i will sell you that are in way better shape. You got this guys address at all Im going to edmonton in aug I will take care of it for ya
