She indicated in the thread that she got cold feet about how money she had in it. She is only like 24 or something... believe she went from a MINI cooper S to the 1M.. tThe 1M is about twice as much as a Cooper S i would imagine..

"Reclaiming VAT when you buy a car Generally you can't reclaim the VAT when you buy, import, or in some other way acquire a car. But there are some exceptions to this. You can reclaim all of the VAT if you meet one of these conditions: The car will be used exclusively for business purposes and you can show that it's not available for private use by your employees or anyone else. For example, your employees' contract of employment excludes private use including travel from home to the place of work. You intend to use the car mainly as a taxi, a driving school car or a self-drive hire car. You're a car dealer and the car will be part of your 'stock in trade' that you intend to sell within the next 12 months." Taxi or driving school, ummm... |

How do you think government provided programs are paid for? The money has to come from some form of tax. Just because these programs are provided equally to a countries citizens does not mean the country has a socialist government.

That sounds a lot like the beginnings of socialism. Take from the people who have and give it to the people who have not

Word of warning to readers outside of the US: Don't get into an argument about 'taxes' and 'socialism' with some people from the US who are often confused and mis-informed, and equate any form of taxing with 'socialism' (and would not be able to explain the difference between socialism and communism). They often have an utopian ideal form of government which is not having any government at all (just don't tell them it's actually the same thing as anarchy ).

Can't understand why any one would be happy with or defending paying a 20% tax for a BMW. |
