2008 550 msport or M1?

Thinking of trading or selling my 550 msport with sport auto tranny for the m1.
The 550 is an awesome car, I use it as my daily car. It's a blast to drive.
I've been reseaching the m1, and I must say I love it,and decided to put a deposit on it. My wife and I were discussing if this is the right decision for me
as she feels I making a bad choice.
So I decided to post and see what opinions others have.
I would probably use the m1 as a daily car most of the time.

wow. just talked to a fellow yesterday that is a friend of a friend that is wanting to make the same move! Easiest first recommendation is to drive a 135.. if you are ok with the headroom, dimensions, and if you have any kiddos, and they are comfortable.. the 1M offers even more performance... but a 135 test drive will give you the idea if the 1M is too small etc..
