FS: Koni FSD Damper Set
Im selling my FSD dampers. The rumors are true, they do not work on lowered cars (other than the Eibach Combo), at least not well enough. But if you have OEM springs, these should be just awesome. Smooth ride with great handling. Theyve been driven less than 1000 miles. I want to move these fast, so $500 local pickup, $600 shipped. They cost me $712 with tax.

some junkyard junkie says he can get them for $450
as i'm trying to sell my new set and he posted on my thread... but then when i asked where, he said, "i got connects." anyway it seems like you're selling at a better deal considering the low miles you have on it. Good luck with your sale -- these dampers (when reviewed by tirerack) are used with stock nonzsp or zsp springs in the review. shipping shouldn't be $100 though -- so you can get rid of these fast!! Maybe around $50 or so ups. This is a great deal guys, someone should jump on this -- and then jump on my set of fsd's that i'm selling!! free bump for you |

Give bavarian19 a PM, iirc he was sort of interested in getting into a Koni FSD/Eibach pro-kit combo.

i think there's a slight drop w/ these dampers... not sure where the source of that information was...
anyway, to help with the sale, here's the review from a very credible source: http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/tests/koni_fsd.jsp |

+1, Koni themselves do not recommend these with any aftermarket lowering springs, Eibach Pro-kits included.

DAMN you chris, you make it hard to fight the mod-bug.
I don't want to lower my car, but I want tighter handling in turns, so this would be perfect. |

Nope, I have Koni Yellows, not FSD's. Danny

Of course man, I dont want someone to end up in the mess that I did. These are awesome when used the right way, but when used the wrong way like I did, they are not that great.

Wait Danny, so you meant Koni does not recommend the FSD to be paired up with Eibach Pro-Kit? I thought lots of people have good feedbacks on Koni FSD + Eibach Pro-Kit?

Koni recently came out with an FSD lowering kit with Eibach springs.
This is somewhat new, when I posted about this over a year ago, the FSD lowering kit was not available, just the FSD's, which Koni states..."FSD kit must be used with stock height suspension". Danny Quote:

ORB also stated that the valving is different on the combo FSDs compared to the regular FSDs, they even have a different part number.

If I recall correctly, the stand alone FSB and the FSB included in the Koni/Eibach Kit are actually different. They have different part numbers from what I gather. The FSB included in the Koni/Eibach kit was specifcally tuned for the Eibach springs so "HDR"'s comment I believe is still correct. The stand alone FSB kit is really meant for ZSP and non-ZSP springs only.
