Would have been better to see them do a side by side pull, on a road with no other traffic though.

I think it looks faster in the video because it seems that the 1M must have been doing some speed well before it passed the M3, hence M3 is playing catch up!

As the M3 drivers says "we caught up them, but didnt have enough space"

I think they "caught up" because of the traffic. But by the by, that M3 I believe is a supercharged G-Power M3, so I would have expected them to at least catch up...

Have to say though, thats the first time i've heard a DCT gearbox in the M3.
Shifts were near non-existent! Does sound awesome tho!

Let's not turn this into another one of those threads. The OP posted the video to show the acceleration capabilities of the 1M, not to compare the cars.

Exactly. I wasn't comparing the two cars at all. Just merely showing how good the 1M performed.

Lets not compare M3 to 1M.
And certainly not a DCT AT not-stock supercharged M3 to regular 1M.

Amazing how smooth the shifting is in the supercharged M3. I would have expected a bigger 'kick in the pants' Not sure if that is a good thing.
