Finally Pick it up tommorow (Pic)!

It's been a long and agonising wait, but I finally get to pick her up at 2pm tomorrow!

The dealer sent me a quick picture today of her just before being driven into the handover area. BMWP Kidney Grilles already changed for me!

It's just a case of getting 1200 miles on her so she can have the 'run-in service' then it's Mbutton-ahoy!!!

Will I sleep tonight? I doubt it!!!

That's exactly the colour I've ordered and I'll be doing the same with the black kidney grills.

Got her!!! ... and 500 miles later I'm back home! I took the long way home!

Words cannot explain how different these cars look in the metal. I was blown away when the cover came of!. No picture or video I have seen can for 1 minute do justice and show the road presence & aggressiveness that the 1M has, it is simply staggering!

Even keeping it below 4000rpm, it is obvious that this thing has got some legs. God I can't wait to open up the taps!

A quick hello to the guy in the other handoverbay who was picking up his BSM 1M. Nice to meet you and your GF!

Another quick hello to the chap and his missus in the VO 1M on the M25 who flew past.

All in all an amazing day, and one VERY happy owner!!!

I'll get her washed, waxed and take some proper pics, but until then here's a few pics from the handover...

It's one of the only ones I've seen without sat nav, which I didn't order either. Any chance of a better picture of the dash? Cheers.

Congrats on the car. The more I see of it in white, the more I like it... And I hate white cars!

Just regarding the "One of 450" - If they're all stamped as such, gives them leeway to sell more without two people meeting and going WTF, mine's ALSO # ** !!! Or if there is a real idiot at BMW, "451 of 450" hehehe

Well, that brings up an interesting question. Does a white 1M somehow look better than other white cars? Most white cars are boring IMO.
