Overheating?

Ok so first off, I'm a 335 owner, and I've sort of followed the 1M, mostly what's put on the home page though, so I haven't done a bunch of research.
However, 335's are notorious of overheating at track days. Considering that the 1M is both an M car and powered by the N54, I'm sure it sees track use, but how does it cope with the heat? Beefed up cooling?
Just curious, thanks!

As I understand it, there are N54s and then there are N54s. The 1M has one of the latter.

fingers crossed.

Was at the track on monday, temps were close to 100. Car ran great, oil temps just above 250, no limp mode and no loss of power.

Dan Parker reports the same, but one track guy noticed a tad bit of limp. Seems at least to be improved significantly.

Never heard of a partial limp before. Might just be some heat soak.

Wow! 4 on track at 1 event already? Glad to hear that you all are taking your cars to the track as BMW M intended!
