Exclamation Open allocation in Atlanta! (Filled)

Hey All,

I just got a call from my CA at Nalley BMW in Decatur, GA that they just got confirmation of a 3rd allocation (I have the 2nd and the 1st is expected to come in sometime in July).

I believe that this is an open allocation for a November build and you will be able to custom order the car like I did.

They are selling at MSRP and I feel they treated me pretty well. They will expect you to put down a deposit.

If interested, please contact Charles Bowen (my CA) at (404) 375 3853.

Cheers and good luck.

It's still available as of this posting, so someone better act fast. They're not willing to do ED.

Deal done as of mid-afternoon today. This dealership seems great to work with (at least over the phone). Car is at MSRP (plus free floor mats!).

Ya, usually Christmas is here again before you know it. I have a feeling it's going to be a l-o-n-g time until a car with a November build date gets to my garage. I think it will be worth the wait, though.

Did you get something in writing? I went by and met with Charles around noon today. He mentioned that the floor mats would be included free of charge. He also told me that ED wasn't a possibility but would ask his sales manager.

This is really confusing!

Yes, I have an order form specifying car color and options, as well as the payment receipt. I didn't even ask about ED delivery, so that was a non-issue for me.

I just found out yesterday that this is not a allocation. I got a production week but the order hasn't been picked up. Hope this isn't the case for you. I also have a payment receipt etc.

The quest has just started again.

How could you get a production week and/or allocation when the open one was snapped up within a day of me posting it?

I was at the dealership that day that you posted and put down the deposit. I only read about it afterwards.

TexasF1 put down the deposit on the 3rd allocation. Sounds like they took 2 deposits for the same allocation then?

This doesn't seem very good and I was under the impression that Nalley was an honest dealership.

I'm not quite sure but I think I got the second allocation and TexasF1 got the third allocation.

My build was week 36 as an fyi.

This still doesn't make any sense.

AFIK from talking to my CA (Charles) and the sales manager (Tim), Nalley got 3 allocations.

Allocation #1 (Unknown buyer) - Week 26. Finished production and is on way to PCD

Allocation #2 - (Mine) - Week 31. Hoping production starts soon.

Allocation #3 - Open allocation I posted about. I thought TexasF1 had this. Are you saying that you also have a deposit down on this one? I think the build was going to be around November?

I would get on the horn to those guys. Something is not right and I feel bad because I was the one who put the note out about the open slot.

My understanding is that they got two extra allocations for a total of four. TexasF1 got the fourth one and that I got the third one. I have all the paperwork that TexasF1 has.

I also feel something is not right as well...

So, did your car go into production yet? I'm still waiting on more information on my allocation; no production confirmation as of yet.

Hopefully they get one. Global said they would get 3 allocations and were confident about it. 2 months later and a hell of a lot of missed allocations, they tell me they are not getting another 1M allocation!

Back to square 1...

Nope. Apparently, allocation #1 was delayed almost 2 months. I've been re-re-assured that I have a car.

Been busy with a lot of other stuff, so I'm kinda on a slow simmer now.
