Adding aftermarket HID lights to a non-HID lease?

Would this be a terrible idea? I wanna add them to my car and I have a non HID car.. so id buy like the MTEC kit and install it and then take it out when before i turn in the lease...would this be a terrible idea or would it be pretty easy to get them out and restore to original?

THANKS

up to you how much you want to risk.

Watch out for error messages with the MTEC installed, search for "MTEC", it'll give you an idea.

Don't go MTEC - Go Prolumen.

Can someone please show me the back of the headlight of a Halogen E90 so I can draw on it and show you what's required?

If your dealer is cool, they won't care when you turn it back in. i.e. I upgraded to Bellof Angel eyes, and they wont care when I turn it in, if I do.

last time i checked, HIDs in a non HID car would throw the headlight out error message.

It should throw an error message, since they use less power then HID car. Well, that's how it is on E46. I think it is the same on E90.

apparently there are kits out there that avoid the error message.....as described above...and I will take the kit out when i turn it in...not planning to give the dealer and extra 300 bucks worth of stuff...

Since you have an E90 sedan, you can go with our Projector90 headlights. These are complete headlight replacements that swap out your stock halogens with projector based xenons and preinstalled predator series angel eyes.
