Hi All

Since no-one in Sydney seems to have or do cabling other than rip of shops i am looking at buying the cbale myself and doing it

I have an E90 Feb 2008 325i
Will this cable work

What cable would i require for an 06 130i
Will the same cable work
I checked and it doesnt look like Becuase E87 isnt mentioned for before 2007

Well if the 130i is the same as my 330xi (05/06 build), then this cable will work.

You need to get a r232 to USB adapter. This is the one I got. It comes with a CD with drivers on it....use these. Not the disc that comes with the obd cable....mine didn't even load.

This combo will NOT work for post march '07 builds as they switched over to K-CAN. Pre-March '07 is D-CAN.

That's backwards, Pre-March '07 is K-CAN, Post-March '07 is D-CAN.
