Cruise Control query
When I pull back (towards me) on the cruise control lever I seem to have a 'notch' in the middle of the motion that activates the CC. The Cruise Control then has a secondary behaviour if I pull it past the notch to the end of the motion.
In my old 120d there wasn't this notch, and the owners manual doesn't refer to it, in fact the owners manual says there is only the one motion (all the way back to the end of the sweep). Is the CC different on the 1M?!?

The CC in the 1M is the same as in my old E91 330D.
Pushing of pulling it to the first notch increases or decreases the set speed in 1mph increments whereas pushing or pulling the stalk past the first notch to the limit increases or decreases in 5 mph blocks. The above applies if you push it to the limit and let go. If you push and hold it at the limit it is like accelerating and continuously increases speed until you let go and sets the CC limit at the peak speed. Cheers for that - that makes sense!
I wonder why it's not detailed in any of the manuals!
