i agree with u 100%!!! they are extremely slow in responding to customers! i called them to request for a receipt for the order I just placed, they said ok, but after a week, no receipt and no response from them. And they sound pretty rude on the phone as well. They really need to work on their customer service!

He got pissed cause you didn't sounds like buying that wheels from them and finally you did not buying it from them.
Don just pissed cause you took way too much of his time for asking a question about the wheels that you were interested in. If this is what the real world of business, I guess my future will be damn easy. Just throwing out the price and beachin at the customer if he/she won't buy it. Sounds very fun. I want to do business now. Seriously, our vendors need better customer service at some point. Like this situation, ADHD is trustworthy and heavy scale member at this forum. If I were a vendors, I would stick with ADHD kind of member so that I can get a better review and become a No.1 vendor. Then a lot of members will also become ur customer which will make your sales a lot higher.

Ya I was actually wondering the same thing. Maybe he did but just didn't mention it. I know I get into the e-mail thing a little too much myself, instead of just picking up the phone.

This is such bullshit thread. Everytime I've PM'd **********s(Don, Ron, Mike), they've responded promptly. ADHD was the one that started the argument and what does he expect when he wants to act like a jerk? A good deal?! Plz.
How many PM's do you think they get everyday, plus having the normal days work in their office/shop. Act like a man instead of like a spoiled brat and you'll get an adult response. Some people here are such babies.

I totally agree with this. I don't trust PM's or POSTS to relay my messages to a vendor, because there are way to many places something can go wrong or something can be misinterpreted. I personally take it upon myself to talk to the vendor over the phone, and in doing so would expect some level of quality customer service. If after personally speaking to the vendor they do not respond/call back or help you with what you need, then there is plenty of room to complain, but this whole email/PM/post misunderstandings make me want to

I'm sure Don gets A LOT of questions from all of us.
Don has been extremely responsive to my questions. He even took the time to send me a PM after another vendor started to give me some incorrect information about the wheels I want. That says a lot to me and I've decided to do business with them.

communications aside I have to say,Don just really helped me out of a jamb with my csl wheels.I had a wheel that wasnt true for some reason and velocity needed me to send out the wheel.I dont have any other wheels to put on the car.Don was back and forth on the phone with them and Im now getting a new wheel shipped to me first.Earlier on there was a miscommunication with me and **********s and I was angry.Don gave me his cell phone number and took care of the situation right away.Everyone has their own situations, im just explaining mine because im really happy with don and how he helped me out.Im very grateful.I guess a little patience goes a long way.

In this situation here, we reviewed what had happened here. Don missed a forum posted question ADHD. He later recieved a pm asking for DPE wheel price from Don - which Don responded to. He received a response back of:
Originally Posted by ADHD wow!! thanks but no thanks ..thats retail pricing i thought u had bargains!! thanks anyways Anyway at this point ADHD continued to belittle Don on the forums with more posts. BTW there was no question asked of Don for CSL wheels as implied. We are not going to continue this with you, I am sorry that you feel you were mistreated or did not like the price Don provided (I do believe Don can get people the best prices on DPE wheels). You are as always welcome to shop around with other vendors available on the forum. I think you will find that there was a misscommunication breakdown here. |

I have never bought anything from Mod but I have talked to Don several times and I don't believe he’s what he has said.
Also for the moderator, can this forum avoid F word wondering around? I just think it is inappropriate. |

Sometimes shit happens, when your in the customer service industry you deal with people all day. I bet in **********s case their general rule is "the customer is always right" but in their line of work there will always be transactions that just don't go perfect...

I dunno. I talk to Tyler(ADHD) almost daily and he is a really good guy. He wouldn't get upset over something like this if he felt it truely merited such a reaction.
I run my own business as well and with clients it's nothing but all yes sir/maim, no sir/maim and always being extremely polite. I personally feel this is how things should be in most businesses, with obvious exceptions, which there may have been some marginal areas but, to allow the tone of the vendor isn't exactly exceptional. I would never expect one instance to hurt a business, but I do know car modding shops are a dime a dozen. And with the internet that doesn't exactly help their business. Having good customer service and competitive prices definately help. Not saying Modbargins doesn't have that but that doesn't mean they shouldn't constantly be paying attetion to these facts. Quote:

gotta say that my experience with **********s has been terrific...I recieved my m6 reps and H&R springs super quick...One of the wheels was actually missing an M sticker so I PM'd Ron and he answered me almost immediatley...They are sending me the sticker as we speak...
Just some advice here but I have always found the phone to be the best communication tool when dealing with a vendor, or anyone else for that matter...Next time you might want to give the company a call and talk to them in person, I'm sure that will result in less problems for you... |
