My order has been confirmed!!

Just had a message from my dealer to confirm that I have secured a car!!

It's showing on the system as a Week 41 delivery (which is early October) but I've been told it could come late September!!!!

Yes....I'm very happy

......Ok I'll try and calm down now

misses just received an update from the dealer today that the car is due to be built week 37/Sept.........Now I don't know if that's build complete or commencement of build!

Thanks all. Really REALLY happy that I've managed to secure a car. It's going to be absolutely fantastic and the wait now will draaaaaggg....but it's worth it!

When my dealer told me "Week 41", he said that this would be the latest date by which the car would be delivered to them. Maybe Week 37 for you is the week in which you're dealer will receive the car?

Out of interest, when did you order? I ordered on 13th June. I also thought you'd requested that the car be delivered in December, or am I thinking of somebody else?

Order placed 8th June and yeah we had requested a Dec delivery date but now need to find out if that is a build commence or a delivery as we are pretty much away the entire Oct on an east to west coast drive across the US ........we shall just have to see what the score is.....

Guess what I've got a test drive in at the weekend?

There is a dealer event near me and they have a demo 1M to try out, all around my favourite roads. That should whet the appetite a bit more for October

My dealer confirmed today that my car is scheduled for a week 38 build, which is the week commencing 19th September

Apparently the cars take a week to build, so I could have the car at the end of September!!

Nearly there.....

Nice one mate, week after ours, our dealer better have a nice storage facility for ours if it comes in Oct as we aint around to take delivery and specifically asked for Dec lol
