1M Shop/Service Manual?
This may have already been covered (I searched but didn't find anything), but who makes the service manuals for BMW's? I used to have a Type-R a long time ago, and Helms had some amazing service manuals (down to the torque spec for each bolt). Is there an equivalent for the 1M?

Doubt that there will be a 1M-specific manual for such a limited production model since motor is used in many other BMWs and the suspension is out of the E9x M3.

The TIS, or technical information system, is for car up to 2007, 2008, which means some of the base info for the N54 and 135's is there. Of course the 1M is not covered there.
For the 1M all the technical info comes inside the new ISIS/ISTA systems, which replaced the GT1 at BMW dealers last year. There are a couple of forums around that talk about them but people are not so helpful there. I'm going to try make ones of this work on a laptop but it's not easy... If you want the TIS, you can downloaded from some BitTorrent websites, if not, look it up on eBay.
