Anyone going to enjoy the 1SMC in stock form?
I've modded many of my vehicles in the past, but I think that this one stands as a fine accomplishment from BMW as is. Unless you're tracking it, why not just leave it alone?
Am I the only one who will savor this vehicle in native form? |

lol. having gotten a little but into modding before I think I'm done with that for awhile. If I'm fortunate enough to get my hands on one of these cars, I'm definitely keeping it completely stock.
For me, it'll be perfect from the factory as is. |

I think I will make only minor mods.
1. Delete/replace CDV 2. Tint 3. Lamin-X I might consider a tune later down the road once the Maximas and the Acura TLs have gotten closer to the 1M in terms of straight-line performance. I don't usually get goaded into stop-light drag-racing but there is no way in hell I'm getting burned by a Japanese family sedan.

Well, now I don't feel so bad for keeping it as-is. I think back to all of the mods/upgrades I did to my old E30 318i, and now I wish I could just find a mint-condition, unmolested E30, just to experience it the way it was the day it came out of the showroom.
I'm not anti-upgrades, but I have a funny feeling this one will be kickass as it is. |

Mostly Stock
Tint
Lamin-X Maybe ESS tune (but only if I can flash back and forth from stock to "chipped" easily as much as I want, because I think I'm going to get the extended warranty) Anyone know if the dealership will still be able to tell if I used the ESS system if I put back to "stock"? |
