shadowline trim or carbon fiber overlay for trim
Hey guys, I'm gonna be doing my car and a buddy's car sometime within the next 2-3 weeks. I'm gonna be purchasing a few 5x30 in both matte and gloss. If you're interested let me know. I'm in alexandria, va. I know theres a few other members on the board that will be doing it, but for those who aren't able to make it to the time frames they have available. anywho, i'm no professional, and will be posting pictures of mine as soon as they're up. I'm also going to be doing the carbon fiber vinyl for the interior trim, and i'm not very positive how that's going to turn out but will be posting pictures of that as well. anywho, let me know if you guys are interested.
http://www.bmwshadowline.com/index.html and for the carbon fiber overlay i'll be using the di noc 3m overlay. |

so i did my car and completed it, i had a few imperfections however this was my first car and i got it down pretty good. i'm gonna redo mine, just cause i overstretched the vinyl at a few points and i made tiny holes, but im honestly a perfectionist, and even the slightest misperfections will irritate me.
pictures are in no specific order, but here are a few from the first time i did my car. again guys this is my first time doing it so these had a few imperfections, however i'm going to be redoing mine this weekend, if anyone is interested in getting their cars wrapped let me know, i'd be more than willing to help. i will post pictures of the final product when im done. note: theres a lot of glare on mine, so please don't mistake those for holes or tears. and also the wrinkles go away after a day or two. i did mine this past saturday and thats when the pictures are from, the majority of the wrinkles are gone now. Did you have to use a hair dryer or heat gun? Was it pretty easy to complete? I plastic dipped mine but I want something a little more permanent and I was thinking this might be the way to go.

Hey I actually plasti dipped mine too and it was terrifying. This turned out 100x better than plasti dip. I didn't have to use a heat gun or anything.
