Wife Just Freaked e92 Creme Beige Vs. Beige
Well...I found the e92 I wanted and I have a good deal for it(1000 off MSRP, car is status 155)...but my wife just realized the car has "Creme Beige" leather instead of "Beige" Leather. She is saying it is MUCH lighter and says we should should wait it out for a darker interior.
Help me. Please. Help. I don't want t factory order and wait till August, plus I have several people wanting to take over my current lease. |

When you go to the dealer to see it, have her wear dark sunglasses...she'll love it!

imho you're in one of the best areas to get a good deal, is $1000 off really that good? I'll never subscribe to the camp which feels like paying an extra grand is "worth the time" that's saved. I guess I always equate thousands of dollars to property tax, in which case 1k is more than a month's.
Anyway, though I was shopping in Oct., I shopped your area. Two dealerships that I never set foot in blew the rest away, one was in BK, the other in JC, NJ. Maybe they can do better than $1000 off today (because it was double that in Oct.), or, you can use their quotes as a bargaining chip at a north Jersey dealership. This is an expensive car, don't pull the trigger because one seems to save a 2wk to 4 wk wait imho. |

Seriously, you live in NYC. There are plenty of dealers within 1/2 hour of Manhattan that should have the interior you are considering. Call and find out if they have one in stock so you won't waste your time and go see it.

The issue is...nobody seems to have these cars coming in and they say a custom order will be August at the earliest. |

Maybe I'm so laid-back because mine has sat in the garage for over 2 wks. now. DOH!! But I still never let finances take a back seat to emotions.....good luck. |

If you want to get in her pants, you need to put her into those dark sunglasses. But Oh, you're already married, so I guess that's not possible anymore. Personally, I prefer darker interiors, after getting the light gray for my 325.

Gluck, what is her objection to the cream beige? If she just doesn't like the color then you should wait... becasue she would always hate it and it would spoil the fun of having the car. If she is concerned about maintaining it, then I think it's just a matter of keeping it clean. Do you have kids? That would be a consideration.
Best of luck with the decision!

Beige, cream beige--both light. Saddle is the darker brown available on the E92. Yes, it is light--but you are both adults and should manage to keep it looking decent, right?
Sounds like if you want the car in your timeframe, this is the compromise that must be made.

Saying there isn't much difference is not accurate. Have any of you guys seen both?

This probably isn't what you want to hear, but maybe you should just exercise a bit of patience and get what you really want. It seems that your quick decisions have resulted in you driving cars in which you are only partially satisfied.
Many people here post about the agonizing wait for their pre-ordered car. But once you sit in a car where EVERYTHING is exactly the way you imagined, you know it was all worth it. But then again, none of us are paying your bills and only you can choose what is right for you.
