Will Escort honor their warranty? I thought you had to buy directly from them. Please clarify.

It uses a SIRF gps system that allows you to store positions of known areas where false alerts occur and also where known speedtraps exist. A very nice feature but I don't know if I am ready to give up my "arrows" just yet.

Way better! It has GPS so you know where speed traps are and you can program known areas as well as completely ELIMINATE false alarms!

It clocks your speed, talks to you, is faster, and is very sleek looking.

I suggest reading about it on the website above. You would not be disappointed with this radar!

Yes they will honor their warranty 100%. The boxes are straight from the factory and have the warranty card inside them!

Guaranteed or your money back! Seriously though, this thing is amazing.

Yes, feature-wise this is better than Valentine-1. Some people say that V-1 is better at POP but you can look at test results and see that performance-wise 9500 is just as good, if not better than V-1.

Thanks for your interest, hope to sell you one!

Here's a test of all the detectors: http://www.guysoflidar.com/march-200...ctor-test.html

draw your own conclusions, don't ask others to make them for you.

Pick them up on ebay. They are much cheaper, and you can practically pick them up at re-sellers costs.

cheers.

This is one of the cool features that this radar addresses. The K band from the cop and the K band from the store is slightly different frequencies and the detector can pick this up and completely eliminate false alarms. Check out radarbusters.com for more information!

They are not much cheaper on eBay - you can check it out yourself!

1) It might be a cheaper price but then it is made up for with the shipping costs.

2) ESCORT strictly prohibits the sale of these under MSRP (I can show you the company's letter if you would like) and anyone caught selling them below MSRP would get in serious trouble.

3) Furthermore, if there are sellers selling it for cheap, they might not be an authorized ESCORT reseller like I am, and thus you may or may not be covered under factory warranty.
