Wow, BMW must be up against its own. If the 335 is doing 4.5s 0-60 with XEDE, I wonder how much faster can they make this M3. As a side note, last Sunday, Motorweek showed a Porshe "super car" that would do 4.2s 0-60.

got any video? If a lil o'l 335 is doing 4.5 and a Porsche "super car" is only doing .3 in 0-60...I can't wait to take my chances w/ my future M3....w/ .3 difference it really comes down to driver skill so basically everything has to be perfect or cccccccccccc yaaaaaaaa o'man I can't wait

Sweet

SICK! Nice vid, excellent find!
:rocks:

Looks to me like the BMW test drivers are shooting for that important 8 minute barrier. Very agressive driving and even some nice oversteer moves near the end. Will they make 8 minutes??

8 Minutes

The most recent reports for the E92 M3 put it at about 8:12 for its best Ring lap times. Unless they are making major changes or find one hell of a driver, I don't think they'll get it under the 8 minute barrier.

I was thinking the same thing Aside from the great new products BMW is putting out GM, Audi & MB are really stepping up their game.
