Next summer/autumn. I remember my parents deposited my E90 320i at the E60 M5 launch show back to 2005. FYI, BMWHK has received about 40 cheques for the F10 M5.

Thanks for the info. Man, it's so lucky that your parents can buy you a brand new bimmer! I'm going to have to pay it out of my hard-earned cash when the times come to swap my current E90 for another car, although that might be awhile, haha. Speaking of the M5, I once spotted a E60 M5 wagon in Hong Kong. I did'nt even know E60 M5 wagons exist in Hong Kong! Given it's rarity, I think that's a potential collector's item. Although I've read from bimmer magazine that its' SMG transmission is really brutal and uncomfortable for daily urban use.

There is Grey 2009 E61 M5 with M6 rims in my house estate (registration mark with the name of a classical composer ). The driver is a newbie driver (with P label) and his mainland parents never touch his car. However they never park their cars inside garage, but other car slots around the estate area instead, what a waste! Besides this one, I knowthere are 2 or 3 more E61 M5s belong to the member of one of the other local bimmer clubs.

Besides E36,E46,E9x M3 and E60 M5, all M cars are rarer than most of the supercars in Hong Kong

When I was working at Chinese U, I recall seeing some undergrad. students driving Aston Martin Vantages (and with a "P" too). Don't know if it is such a good idea to let new drivers (do they have the skills yet?) drive such exotic cars, haha. Or maybe I'm just jealous, hehe.
