Anybody else on the Otello?

Hey everyone,

I just called the 800# and found out my car is aboard the Otello. They said it should takes 2 weeks to hit the states, and that I should be getting my car around the 2nd week of May. Anyone else aboard?..this wait is a killer.

the 800# told you that you were on Otello? I called this morning and told me only my CA can tell what vessal the car is on... please clarify

I called the 800# and the represenative told me that the car was shipped yesterday. Im in NewYork/New Jersey area so looking at the shipping schedule, the boat that left port yesterday was the Otello....sorry for the confusion.

I thought I was on the Liberty, but no VIN # popped up. Since this is the only other ship going in that direction, I must be on this. Unfortunately I'm still 7 weeks away from PCD (June 7th). The waiting sucks.

Yeah, my humble E90 323i (2.5 litre six) is on the Otello, which is somewhere in the North Atlantic now.
Due into the Halifax port May 1st, hope the backlog of cars at the port due to the CN rail strike is cleared up by then.
Don't want to wait any longer, even without a backlog it can take as much as 3 weeks to get loaded on a train and make it's way West across the prairie...

Any word on the vehicles from the Otello? My CA informed me that the VPC is holding some vehicles to replace the tire pressure sensors due to a recall. My car was supposed to arrive at the stealership today, but no word yet. Anyone else hear of this?
