Procede N55, new beta map and firmware update

I texted robert@vishnu, as I regularly hound
him for new updates.

This time, he happen so say
there's a new beta map/firmware update.

Orly?!?

Of course my next question was "can you email
me the update? --.pretty please."

So the update is firmware - pro5v005.bin
and a beta map - 8-8 v5

it also stated as "what's new"

Revised fuel pressure mapping.
Now Rev 3 compatible

Map is bueno!
It's since been loaded to my 335 but that
news doesn't stop there. Robert stated meth
kits are about 1-2 weeks away.

I got this news about a week ago.
So I'm figuring meth kits should be
ready, right around now.

I'm sure with this meth kit there's gonna be
another updated map.

great news,
the next stage for the N55.
maybe all these bolt ons will
translate to some solid numbers with meth.
time to start booking
the dyno sessions.

UPDATE:
u can now download the new map and fw from
procede site.

I've been watching N55 updates since I ordered my car back in May. It's got 900 miles on it and (compared to my ~500hp RX7) it's slow.

I've been waiting for Shiv to have a N54 comparable Proceed available (rev3 functions, pwm meth, etc) before I pull the trigger.

Can't wait! I'm curious though, it seems the notorious "N55 torque dip" has been ironed out of the few flash tunes I've seen posted. Does this still remain an issue for piggybacks like the Proceed? Do we know what causes it?

the usually guinea pigs are ready.

stage 1 been iron out -
Catless DP and Tune. It's not power like ur RX7 and
it's prob far out from that point. An upgraded turbo
as the mantra's been for this engine but
time will tell.

sound from the turbo and torque wise, on the n55, is very enjoyable.
if you've been waiting i'd say dont.

I say pull the trigger already -

I've been waiting to pull the meth kit trigger till they come out with the maps for it. I didn't feel like spending a G on a paperweight.
