I have an ultra clean 2003 M3 I have decided to place on the market. The car has 22,700 miles. Here is a list of equipment:

Link to the car fax? Also, I've heard that the SMG can be a "rough" transmission. What are your thoughts on it? Please try to remain as unbiased as possible please. Also, how many miles on it when you bought it and do you have service records? How old is the battery? Sorry if these are annoying questions, but I'm interested. Also, would you have the car detailed before purchase or is that up to the new buyer?

The SMG has not been a problem for me. I tend to drive as if it is a manual transmission and let off the accelerator when I change gears.The only time I think it is rough is when you are in the automatic mode and the car is going slowly downhill and down shifts from 3rd to 2nd. I purchased the car in Feb 2011 with 19840 miles on it - I believe insp 1 was accomplished just before I purchased it as the indicator said oil change due in 14,950 miles at that time. The rod bearing recall has been accomplished on the car. I am unsure about the age of the battery. Let me know if you need any additional info. I would have it detailed only if we agree on a decent price and I am not low balled.
