Just moved to GA and questions!

Hi i have 2007 328xi and I just moved to duluth
i loved how the car handles in winter in illinois but i heard that there is no chance of snow down here
anyways i was wondering if anyone knows some reputable shops for tinting and also for regular maintenance since my 328 is out of warranty in duluth area or in atlanta.
i did little search for tint on my own and seems like Custom Sun Control on Hwy 41 near Marietta does a good job, but if anyone has other suggestions, let me know.

I use The Shop in Norcross (678-352-4900). They specialize in Land Rovers and sometimes aren't real fast but they do the work right at a good price. Another good choice would be Solo Motorsports, also in Norcross.

I had my car tinted at United Duluth when I bought it. They used a mobile tinter who is very good. John Nguyen, 678-858-5146.

Shout at me if you need a detailer. I've done a lot of e90post member cars as well as bf.com member cars. Just search my name and get some reviews.

It definitely snows down here, at least a couple of times a year, but usually only a couple of inches. The big problem is the occasional ice storm. We had a doozy here in January...practically shut down the city for a few days...at work we called it Snowpocalypse!

BTW - regular maintenance is a breeze, I'd be willing show/help you (i have a 335i so things will be different) if you're willing to provide a spot! My apartments are sick of me working on my car in the garage!

There's a caffeine and octane meet the occurs regularly, around the marrietta/alpharetta/sandy springs area i believe...do a search for the term and you'll get lots of hits

im not sure if i can provide a spot because the apartment im living in has no garages. it kinda sucks to let my car sits out there.
i found diy of engine oil change. i guess i have to get a set of ramps, 17mm socket ranch, and a large pan.
couple of questions though, where can i throw away old engine oils?
what are other cheap and easy diy regular maintenance? replacing air filter?
and when getting engine oil and engine filter, is the united bmw gwinnett the place to go?
im kinda excited to take care of my car but dont have tools and knowledge. so please help me out thanks

Take a look at Freed Performance

Take a look at Freed Performance (www.freedperformance.com) up in Forsyth. They sponsor the Peachtree BMW CCA chapter and have positive feedback from forum members.
