Wheel Spacer Questions.

Hi,

I'm interested in wheel spacers on real wheels,
and need some help.

1. 15mm vs. 20mm
I want my car to look little aggressive but clean. Is 20mm spacer too much?
20mm will make wheel stuck out of the wheel house?

2. Brand
Which brand should I pick?

3. Lug bolt
Are they tapered or cornical? What is the length of stock bolts?

Thank you in advance.

Mike

Just a general comment.
The thicker of the spacer, the more stress you are putting onto the suspension components as your wheels are now being pushed out.

1) Unfortunately I do not have a recommendation on the spacer thickness, but what you can do is use the tape measure method. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/k...ure_spacer.gif

2) Macht Schnell, H&R, Rouge Engineering are all great brands to look into.

3) You'll need cone seat type lug bolts. Lug bolts will have to be chosen accordingly to spacer thickness you decide to choose.

Step 1. Watch Video for explanation and instructions on how to determine the proper width.

I'm going to put 12mm on the front and 15mm on the rear. Just waiting for longer lug bolts to arrive.
