cant tell what this noise is?
Happens only when the car is at normal operating temp, and happens only at 1.5k to 2k rpms. It seems the sound is coming from the front right passaenger side, it sounds like a grinding/ humming noise just loud enough to hear? Does it in neutral to, but if it happanes during driving, if i turn the steering to the right it goes away and if i turn it back to the left its back? Any tips?

hub bearing? Take a 'good' experienced mechanic for a ride with you and let him feel it.
After that, put your pants back on and see if he can figure out what the noise is... :P jk |

N55 or N54, sounds like a sound my X5 with an N55 has when pulling away from a stop at low RPM, a kind of low grinding noise, just for a second, guessing it is turbo related, but after 15k miles it hasn't got better or worse, so waiting for it to get worse, or for the lease to end!
