Hold your forks, he hasn't been on here since 25th, almost a week ago. How long you waited?
I dealt with him personally and he's a great guy. Edit: you posted on his visitor messages that you got the knob this Monday and you already creating threads that you got "shafted". Seriously? http://www.e90post.com/forums/member.php?u=87313 |

Not to be a d*ck, but depending on where he is in NJ he still may not have power right now. There are many parts of the state under 5 feet of water or more. If he is in that area I am pretty shore the last thing he is thinking about right now is your shift knob.

hahahaha....nice
ok for the record guys, My knob showed up as delivered according to fedex.....a while ago, ill have to look up the exact date. I sent the paypal money on the 18th......... and shipped the knob the next day. I would not have jumped to this conclusion had i heard a single word from him............Iv messaged, and emailed him multiple times.......... I didnt think about the hurricane hitting but in all fairness that was a few days ago, not 2 weeks ago. If that really is why i havnt heard a thing from him then i feel bad, but he was last active on the 25th..... 7 days after he received my money..... and he recieved the knob 3 days or so after i sent the money. Like i said if anyone knows him, and can contact him, and remind him to ship me the knob that would be great......If someone else has dealt with him and has his phone number please give it to me, or tell him about this. I posted this not only to express my frustration, but maybe someone would see it who knew him........or even he would see it. Last edited by merchomini; 09-02-2011 at 10:13 AM.. |

HAHAHAHAHA.......... id rather roll knobless Quote:
NOOOOOO........ I have emailed and pmd since i sent the money and knob......on the 18th. Iv just been getting more and more impatient and thinking that im gonna be riding around knobless for a while, which is aggravating to me.........or anyone else probably. IF THE CASE IS THAT THE JERSEY AREA HES IN IS MESSED UP DUE TO NATURAL DISASTER I APOLOGIZE.........but like i said, i havnt heard from him since the 18th...and if he was going out of town for two weeks then he should have said something along those lines. Also, I am new to this forum, but not new to forums, iv been on motorcycle forums for years, and was on the MINI northamericanmotoring.com for 2 years also.....I am always buying and selling even more than i buy, and i just found this to be rude at first....then a few days later unprofessional, and then today i felt like i just got screwed and posted up about it. |

I had some issues with him a year or so ago when he was selling something for triple of retail. He became real nasty and it was obvious that he wasn't someone you could trust.
A bit of advice when sending both money and an item to swap. Make some sort of agreements with the seller to make some sort of incremental deal. For example, you could send your shift knob and when he sends the one you want (or sends proof of shipment) then you can paypal the money. That way, if one party flakes, neither is out everything. That said, NJ is pretty problematic right now, so if he got your shift knob right before the storm then he may still be without electricity and, quite frankly, he won't be worrying about sending your shift knob. Call him. You do have his phone number, right? |
