Question minus 1 sizing?

Hi everyone,

I'm a new member and have a question.
I just purchased a 2011 335i base model which comes standard 17in rims.
I had a 328i base model and purchased 205/55 16in winter tires and rim.
I would like to know if I can use these 16in rims and tires to fit on the new 335i base model car as winter tires/rims? Hate to sale and purchase new rims just for winter tires/rims.
I also checked at http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html and seems to size and according from tirerack.com minus 1 sizing. Can someone confirm if possible?

thanks very much

i believe 16 inch wheels and 335i brakes don't mix well. 335i will only fit 17+inch wheels as far as i know.

16" will not fit over the 335i front brakes.

I have a set of 18" MSPORT Wheels and Tires for Sale. They were my winter setup on my 335i. The wheels are 18"X8 ET35 and 18X9 ET 35 so they should work on your car. They have TPMS monitors on them but they may not work with 2011, and 225/40/18 F and 255/35/18 Rear Continental DWS Extreme Contact. Only 2 seasons on the car. They wont fit my M3. Will sell as complete set. If interested PM me.
