If you don't care about the darkness then why the hell ask? Anyways a 15-20% is perfect for me. (BSM 335is)

18% all around is what I've been using on my past 3 cars. Super happy with it!

OP, you'll care about what the laws are when you get stopped and ticketed for illegal tint. All that aside, too dark makes it difficult to drive at night, particularly when backing out of driveways and other parking maneuvers. Your goal should be to block heat and UV, not to limit your outward vision.

I have 30% ceramic by 3M on my space gray and it looks great. But I almost think its too reflective and I wish I had gotten 40%. But this ceramic is a reflective tint which makes it look a little like a mirror tint but not as bad. Anyhow the tint looks perfect for the color combo in my opinion...everyone seems to like it.

25% to 35%, based on being able to see at night. Any less than that and you just can't see anything out the rear glass (or at least I can't), and have to resort to stuff like rolling down the windows so you can see the side-view mirrors untinted. Which is a PITA if it's raining, for example.

You can see out of 18% just fine at night, but sometimes you need to roll your windows down to back up.

That is the shortest path to a contradiction I have seen in awhile.

I had 5% on my last car and when you back up at night you just learn to look for reflections with your brake lights and take a quick glimpse whats behind you for reference before you get in..
