Finally took delivery

Hey everyone,

Been lurking on here for over 2 months now while waiting for my car to be built, shipped here, and delivered to me. That finally happened yesterday, and I couldn't be happier! The car was offloaded in the port of New Jersey last thursday (aug 25) and my dealer thought he'd have it by that weekend. Unfortunately that failure of a storm, Irene, came up here into the northeast and the port got closed down. Waiting, knowing that my car was only 200 miles away, was the most agonizing part of the wait.

And now the part that everyone's waiting for, the pics:

Up first will definitely be tinting those windows! then I need to get rubber floor mats, black kidney grills, and remove those front side markers. After that, who knows what!

and for the record, i know i saw that you were following the whole 193m/287 wheel topic on new 3 series with the m-sport option

i ordered on 7/7/11, build started 7/23/11, finished 8/2/11, loaded on boat 8/14/11, delivered to port 8/25/11, delivery taken at my dealer 9/3/11

hope this may help with trying to figure out if yours may or may not come with whatever wheels you ordered

Love it!

I have a similar car. Black grilles, painted reflectors, slim license plate frame, debadge, tint, and perhaps an M3 rear spoiler = you've got it made.

I also recommend the CDV mod, it will make your shifts a lot smoother.

Sick car. As far as tints are concerned, I'd say go the same % all around for the clean and even look. For the rubber floors mats and black kidney grilles, check out Tischer/GETBMWparts. For the front reflectors, talk to Alan************.
