BMW 320i owner

Hello everybody, I'm from Chile and in the past week I bought a 2006 BMW 320i, 4 doors sedan. I'm absolutely happy with my new car, but I need to clarify my engine's power. The previous owner told me that the car is a 2.2 liter engine, but I'm not really sure about that. It's my understanding that the 320i model has two variants:
(from 2004)N46B20 320i (150 CV)
(from 2007)N43B20 320i (170 CV)

Here's some data of the car:

• Engine number: A880H545
• Chassis numer: WBAVA71016PS03311
• Year of production: 2005
• It has xenon lights, fog lights, light brown leather interiors (don't know if it makes some difference)

Please let me know if you need more data or photos. I just want to know my engine power so I can show off properly with friends

Thanks for any toughts guys!

2.2 engine? Actually not. The 318i and 320i have the same engine, with a 1.995 cc. displacement, same bore and stroke. The 320i though has 20 more Hp, so the same engine is given some modifications on software, manifolds, etc. in order to extract more power. The specifications for your model are:

320i EUR 2005–2007 2.0 L I4 150 PS (110 kW; 148 bhp) 200 N·m (148 lb·ft)
320i EUR 2007+ 2.0 L I4 170 PS (125 kW; 168 bhp) 210 N·m (155 lb·ft)

Actually I had similar questions when I purchased a 2008 318i, which has a rated power of 148 Hp. When the 2007 models and later ones appeared, the power obtained from the engines was augmented, in the 318i the power increased to 148 Hp (which was the previous power the 320i had) and the 320i ´s power increased from 148 to 168 Hp. Very nice numbers, by the way, given the fact my previous 525i E39 from 2001 was rated at 192 Hp.

Also here is a reference to a post I made, since I was kind of stupid because I didn´t understand how was it possible that the same engine in post 2007 318i and 320i produced different outputs. Felt like a moron...

It includes a reference from the E90 datasheet for 2007 and later years, it may give you a reference on newer models.

Hope it helps!!
