need help for parts !!!!!
my car has the sprocket light sign on and they said that i need to change the
mechatronic control module of the Transmission but it is really expensive $3,800 Dls part num: 2434757122 can they repair it ? 335i Sedan 2007 |

I had that error before and it was a faulty microswitch in the gear shift assembly. They replaced the whole assembly. There a diy on how to fix the microswitch....i would look into that before you replace the mechatronics unit.
Go get your car scanned. See what code comes up and look up the description. You may not need a full replacement, rather just the sealing sleeve. But if the sleeve was leaking, it may have damaged the mechatronics unit. So... |
