Ethanol crap

Few days ago i fill up my car with really cheap premium gas (blended with ethanol and other additives) almost instantly i feel lack of power ,occasional hiccups on idle and lower MPG.
Today ,thanks to http://pure-gas.org/ went to nearest ethanol free gas station and ...oh boy !
different car ! on average full tank of gas will cost me around $4-$5 more. Difference is priceless

E10 contains about 3% less energy than non ethanol gas. Does the OP also feel the pea under 20 mattresses?

really not a spam man... i googled free ethanol gas stations.Florida is one of the +-20 states who made 10% ethanol pretty much mandatory. AQnd gas stations like this one are rare here .

That site is terrible! All of the ones listed near me have ethanol, even though they are listed as being "pure".

OP, you can do what you're doing or just buy a bottle of fuel additive for $4-5 bucks each fill-up. It'll work out to about the same in the end. Ethanol is crap but always filling up at the one station in town that doesn't sell it is impractical at best.

OP-Thanks for the post. Its good information. I know people tend to have the placebo affect with any mod or additive, but you cant really argue the fact that ethanol sucks.

On a side note. Is it the BMW crowd or just this site? Why is everyone so god damn mean? Instead of considering what people post and just appreciating the fact that we are all into modding cars, its like people cruise these forums looking for an opportunity to bash on other people. It is really childish.
