Weight distribution on e93
Guys, been considering the e93 for awhile now. Does the e93 have 50:50 with top up or down? Also when it's not 50:50 either with top up or down, what is the resulting distribution? This is not a deal breaker but good to know.

I'm very curious to know the answer to this as well.
I've had my E93 for six months now. Love it love it love it. However.... I would guess it's more 50/50 when the top is down because it seems to hug the road more and feels more secure. With the top up the drive is decent but something forces me to obey the speed limit more on curvy roads. Anyone know?

I believe it's close to 50/50 with the top up. It's not quite as balanced as the E92 even with the top up because of the additional hardware in the trunk (pump, reservoir, electronics, etc), but you're adding an additional couple hundred pounds rear of the rear axle with the top down. The ratio definitely gets worse with the top down.

I think I remember reading that with the top up its very close to 50/50. Top down is something like 47/53. I could be wrong, but that extra weight in the rear when top down would make it feel more stable throwing it around some curvy roads. That and the weight has been moved down (in terms of centre of gravity).
