PM LuxAngelEyes and he'll explain. Essentially, you can use Pre-LCI Xenon angel eye bulbs (with slight modification) on a LCI Halogen headlight. However, the plug type changes--something that shouldn't be a terrible impediment.

So this would be a LUX 5.1?

Well, you're sort of comparing apples and oranges. They're different products accomplishing the same thing. If LUX gives you the go-ahead to try using the LUX 5.1's in the halogen headlights, then do that. I just don't want to give you an answer like "yes, there is a 100% chance this will work" simply because I do not know.

Please post back if you ever get the reply that Lux 5.1's work on your LCI Halogen. I am trying to replace my angel eyes as well but am having a hard time finding someone to sell Lux 5.0's to fit my LCI Halogen housing. Thanks

Guys I'm so confused with this that I am about to give up even looking any more. I have read every thing on this forum and get more confused each time I read more. Old age I guess.

I have a 2009 328xi with actual manf date of 11/14/08.
My angel eyes are a dull yellowish color which I cant stand. I see other BMW's with a great looking bright white ring. That is what I want. What the hell do I need to do to get that look.
My setup is Halogen.
BTW what is LCI actually mean. I don't know if I have LCI, don't have it, want it or shouldn't care.
Any help is much appreciated

Thanks

LCI stands for Life cycle impulse, it was basically a re-design of the car partly. your 2009 model is the LCI style, and if you have halogen headlight then they have angel eyes that are yellow. We offer the LUX E90 LCI Halogen angel eyes that will make them much brighter as well as a pure white 6500k color. I hope that answers your questions

The Lux web site said these bulbs are out of stock. Any timeline as to when you will have more?
