MODMYNAV iphone dock review

Hi All

I recently bought the iphone dock from modmynav and have had some fun installing.

A few issues, there are no instructions for the installation.
Running it from the ashtray under the centre is fine however then getting from under the console to the glovebox was the fun part.
You have to remove the handbrake cover which exposes a whole where you can feed the cable through. You will need to drill 2 holes all together
1. Drill a whole under the ashtray to feed the wire through
2. Drill a whole in the glovebox. I drilled one at the bottom of the cupholder so it is discret and i was only going to use this dock for charging as i use a seperate ipod through the 6FL.

- After the fun with the installation i can say i am extremly happy with it. I put my own doublesided tape as it was a bit stronger
- The cover closes perfectly.
- The iphone does not slip out around hard corners or speed humps

The only other thing i could suggest as a possible improvement is:
1. Source or try and paint the dock black so it looks even more slick
2. Maybe if possible angle the dock a bit more so its sits at about less than 90 degrees

WOW that looks great, if only you could access the ipod music via the steering wheel controls i'd be in like flyn

Price? I'll pick one up if they're cheap, otherwise I'll DIY with the dock I have lying around and a sunglass holder insert.

You dont have 6FL. If you do you can use this mod with your steering wheel
