Looks good. Did you torque the studs down to spec with the allen wrench?

yeah you may wanna get a torque wrench and get those lil guys on there with proper torquing specs, but it is your car and your life.
Not trying to be rude but I would advise that. Not a great amount of leverage with such a tiny tool. Also, were you provided studs to incorporate spacers, I dont see much of the stud with your nuts on. Role of thumb... try to get at least 8-10 thread twists out of them. If you dont have that I would remove the spacers or get longer studs. They look really pretty good tho!!!

thanks for the advice. 75mm studs should be good until 12mm spacers at least thats what i was told - i have 10mm spacers here.... studs arent sticking out because i see that work lug nuts are pretty long and i think they are on all they way until theres thread so it should be good. anyway ill take them down tomorrow and check if theres 8-10 thread twists..

Looks good! I'm interested in doing that conversion as well....
Question: Is the locktite like a glue substance that once applied, the studs cannot be taken off? Also, what's that anti-seize stuff you put on the hub lip? Is it only necessary when running spacers? Lastly, where is the best place to get the studs and lug nuts? TIA

Two more questions:
Do they come with torque specs for the stud conversion? Do they sell the allen wrench in a socket version so I can put that on the breaker bar and use my torque wrench with it? TIA again....

1. more info about locktite http://www.loctiteproducts.com/p/10/...r-Blue-242.htm
2. i used anti seize so i can take off the spacers later on more easily. you could put it on even if youre not using spacers i guess to take off the wheel more easily. more info http://www.amazon.com/Permatex-80078.../dp/B000AAJTXY - or just type in google 3. about the best place i wouldnt recommend the place where i bough mine. they are really slow in answering emails, and i received spacers which were a bit damaged and they forgot to pack all the stuff (still missing 2 spacers) 4. didnt receive any torque spec 5. didnt get the allen wrench in a socket version, i guess you gonna have to get the tools in your local hardware store. |

Thanks for the reply!
So if you don't mind me asking, where did you get the spacers and the stud conversion? I just don't want to risk it that's all, if I ended up going this route..... Would you mind PMing me if you don't want to post the vendor's name on the forum? TIA Quote:
