Style 5's on a e90?

I have a set of 17" style 5's that I am trying to put on my e90. The barral of the rim is just rubbing against the break calipers. I have heard people have grinned down the caliper but that is the last option i want to do. Has anyone done this set up or have any suggestions?

the spacer will push the wheel out, but won't help with the caliper/barrel clearance.

I'm pretty sure the offset is 20. When I bolt up the rim it just hits the caliper because of the shape of the barrel is not straight across. Not that it's bent but just how the rim it. I will try a spacer

Ah you have a 330, I have only seen these on a 325, which has smaller brakes.
a spacer will do nothing for you unless you have a barrel that is inset to allow for a larger brake.

Either Shave the caliper a little, or unfortunately try different wheels

18" Style 5s look small enough on E90. Don't bother with 17"s.
