JB4 Stage 2, need DME update?
Is it necessary to have the latest DME software update (2.44) in order to install the newest JB4? I thought I had read this somewhere, but I can not find it in search. My vehicle is not eligible for the warranted DME upgrade and my Dealer quoted me $360 for the install .

Terry stated that if you do not have the update, you might as well stick to stage 1

It is strongly recommended you have the latest DME as the Stage2 may not work right with older DME versions. If you have the old DME best to stock to stage1 until you can get it updated.
