Selling my car next week so i took it in to my local German dealer to have the lights changed back to my UK spec and also have the
' Edition' front grilles and side grilles removed and replaced with the stock ones........cost of work was 250 Euro - when i returned to
pick up the car they told me that the side grilles couldn't be removed because the garage that had fitted them had glued them in place!!
Funny thing is that they were the dealership who changed the grilles for me last year - i explained that the original work was done by them
and it took me half an hour of argueing with them to get them to meet any of the cost of a new set of side grilles (want them for my new M3)
even after they admitted (after checking they had done the work) that it was their fault they still only agreed to pay half the cost of a
replacement set (100 Euro)

So total bill now is 350 Euro - don't you just love BMW!

I'll wait until i've finished with them!............once i've dropped this car off in the UK i need to pick up the new one and bring it back to Germany and get the garage to fit German lights the grilles and do the 1200 mile service - about 800 Euro in work - don't really want to piss them off before theyve finished the work !!
